Jim Kennedy is an experienced property/casualty insurance veteran with a proven track record of leading teams to success. Jim’s background includes more than 45 years in the property/casualty insurance business, working with companies of many styles (mutual and stock, single-state and countrywide, national and international), as well as spending time as an independent agent. His accomplishments include expanding operations geographically, implementing new automation systems, executing successful acquisitions, developing long-term corporate strategy, expanding into new states, building a sustainable positive culture, and creating an underwriting profit mentality.
Today, Jim serves as a member of the faculty for the NAMIC Director Education Program, participating in both general and customized programs to assist director education. He also is affiliated with Taft Business Consulting where he works with companies on operational consulting, facilitating strategic planning sessions for both boards and management teams.
Jim currently serves on the board of directors of Harford Mutual Insurance Company of Bel Air, Md., where he is a member of the audit and compensation committees. He is a past member of the board of trustees of Tiffin University, in Tiffin, Ohio, where he served on the budget/finance, investment, and academic policy committees.
The cost to attend both days of this workshop is $299. This includes a morning meal, refreshments, and a journal. Registration will open Wednesday, August 15. Space is limited.
